Brett: I love this idea! It's not what you expect to see on a poster about preventing air pollution, which I feel will help grab the viewer’s attention. Of the two rough concepts you have I like the one on the right more. I love the warning label on the top of the poster which informs the viewer that their Indoor Air is Polluted and then lists why and the effects. The bold warning then makes the viewer want to read the rest of the poster. I'm assuming the rough on the left would also include the information, but it seems a lot less effective when it's just included in the mass of text in the middle of the page. I also like the idea of putting the title in the middle of the pot and having the individual plants and their accompanying information surround it. It would be cool if you could have all the plants be pouring out of the plant and wrap around the sides of the poster. Make sense? I feel it would be more graphically interesting and would really catch the viewer’s attention. I love the contrast between the very rigid warning label on the top and all the organic shapes of the flowers on the bottom.

from most pollution-prevention info-graphics that I feel it will really stand
out from the rest.

you for your critique. I will definitely put the harmful chemicals at the top
with the warning label. I can try a sketch where some of the plants are pouring
out of the flowerpot but some of them are kind of hard to do that kind of imagery
with. It is a good way to include the flower pot logically.
